Parent Engagement: Sign Language for Social-Emotional Learning for Families of Young Children Online Learning with Live Virtual Training & DropBox link

Training includes a live 2-Hour Zoom Training for upto 100 participants (recorded for agency future use), a link to a DropBox folder with eBooks, other pre-recorded video learning with signs for songs, stories and activities for teaching young children ages infants to pre-schoolers, printable resources and more.  Additional bonus (12 pre-recorded child-based lessons with topical areas of learnig with songs, games and stories).  

Workshop Information:

Sign Language for Social & Emotional Learning for Early Childhood (w/ Lillian H Tobin & Dr. Michael Hubler) Participants will learn how to implement social and emotional learning through the use of fun sign language, story, songs, and games.

This workshop will teach early childhood methods and practices to augment their capacity to guide their children socially and emotionally through a positive, preventative, and effective instructional approach. During this workshop participants also learn to use sign language and other techniques to bring young children out of their emotional brain into their logical brain to increase peer relations, expressing their feelings in a positive manner, and to improve self-regulating behavior. Additionally, participants will learn how to teach their children to self-regulate, use perseverance, and problem solve. These social-emotional skills are the necessary stepping stones to boost your children’s academic and, ultimately, life success.
